Application Pathways
Procedure depends on whether you are nominated by a partner university or apply directly. Both routes converge on the same Unicollege application form, review timeline and acceptance documentation.
Pathway A
Your home university receives Unicollege materials, runs internal selection if applicable, and submits a formal nomination. You then complete the Unicollege application directly.
Pathway B
Qualified applicants from non-partner institutions — including individual students, families and gap-year participants — apply directly to Unicollege without an institutional nomination.
Application Steps
The same six-step procedure applies to both pathways. Sending institutions or independent applicants begin by requesting the official Application Form from the Study Abroad Office.
Step 01
Candidates or sending institutions contact the Study Abroad Office to receive the official Application Form, student guidebook and information sheet.
Step 02
Partner students are nominated by the home university; independent students proceed directly. Eligibility verified by Unicollege.
Step 03
Academic background, program and course selection, housing options, meal plan, visa requirements, insurance and required documentation.
Step 04
Completed applications are reviewed by Unicollege and typically confirmed within 7–10 working days. Formal acceptance follows.
Step 05
Following confirmation, participants submit the first non-refundable installment per the schedule outlined in the Application Form.
Step 06
Housing check-in 2–3 days before program start. On-site orientation at the beginning of each session, adapted to the pathway.
Academic Calendar
Applications are accepted at any time during the year. Students are placed in the next available academic session.
Fall Semester
Promotion window at home institutions: January to February. Nomination and application typically conclude by late spring.
Spring Semester
Promotion window at home institutions: September to October. Nomination and application typically conclude by late autumn.
Summer Sessions
Multiple short sessions across the summer. Visa-free duration of 90 days applies to most short-term participants.
Standard duration is 90 days for visa-free participants and 90 days or more for students holding a study visa. Stays longer than 90 days require a study visa.
Make-up sessions or remaining examinations may be completed online if a student returns early, subject to prior approval by both the home university and Unicollege.
Documentation
The Application Form is the single official document that consolidates academic, logistical and financial information. Institutional endorsement is required where applicable; parental involvement is mandatory for minors.
Academic
Home institution, level of study, transcripts and prior coursework.
Program
Selected program, term, course list and credit allocation per syllabus.
Stay
Accommodation type, meal plan and any approved alternative arrangements.
Logistics
Visa requirements, insurance coverage and required documentation per program.
