How to Apply

Application Overview

Rolling, year-round intake

Enrollments for all Unicollege study abroad programs are open year round. Applications are accepted at any time and reviewed on a rolling basis; students are placed in the next available academic session, subject to course availability.

Two pathways are available — through the home institution as a partner-university nominee, or directly as an independent applicant — with the same documentation standards and academic governance.

Application Pathways

Two routes, one academic standard

Procedure depends on whether you are nominated by a partner university or apply directly. Both routes converge on the same Unicollege application form, review timeline and acceptance documentation.

Application Steps

From first contact to enrollment

The same six-step procedure applies to both pathways. Sending institutions or independent applicants begin by requesting the official Application Form from the Study Abroad Office.

Step 01

Request the form

Candidates or sending institutions contact the Study Abroad Office to receive the official Application Form, student guidebook and information sheet.

Step 02

Nomination or direct entry

Partner students are nominated by the home university; independent students proceed directly. Eligibility verified by Unicollege.

Step 03

Complete application

Academic background, program and course selection, housing options, meal plan, visa requirements, insurance and required documentation.

Step 04

Review & confirmation

Completed applications are reviewed by Unicollege and typically confirmed within 7–10 working days. Formal acceptance follows.

Step 05

Payment & enrollment

Following confirmation, participants submit the first non-refundable installment per the schedule outlined in the Application Form.

Step 06

Arrival & orientation

Housing check-in 2–3 days before program start. On-site orientation at the beginning of each session, adapted to the pathway.
